1. Question
We are interesting creatures at times, because so often we know very clearly what is good/better for us, but through conditioning, through not staying connected to our True Selves, we take our direction from external forces instead of choosing the direction that we want to head in purposefully. For that very reason it is helpful to make time for the things that will calm your emotional weather, and in turn help you to take back the power in the moment. Heart-filler activities help us stay connected to our True Selves, and therefore make us a lot more stable on our journey. An easy way to get started is to commit to a 30-day exercise where you set aside 15-20 minutes a day, consisting of a heart-filler activity in the morning of 10-15 minutes (for many this is a time for meditation), as close to the first thing in the morning as possible. Early morning is often preferred because your mind is likely to have highly energised thoughts or thought patterns compared to later in the day. At the end of the day when you are settling into bed, do a 5 minute gratuity exercise. This can be you writing the things down that you were grateful for during the day, or simply take a minute or two thinking about what you have to be grateful for. We are looking to end our day with a feeling of appreciation to shift our emotional climate in the direction of where we want it to be.
As we know, a heart-filler activity does not have to be the traditional form of meditation, meditation is merely one type of heart-filler activity. For some it may be painting, for others, walking in the garden or brushing your cat. Whatever activity helps you to have thoughts (or no thoughts) that are in resonance with your Inner Peace. Start by choosing one such an activity that you are incorporating into your life, and which you will commit to for a few days at least to get you into the place where you allow the Creative Source to express through you. After 30 days it will feel like second nature to you to perform the daily heart-filler activity/activities and you would not want to go a day without the sweetness of alignment that comes from a heart-filler activity. The idea is to let it become engrained in your daily routine – how great is a habit of setting yourself up for success every day! And remember that the heart-filler preferably should be the first activity for the day as it sets the direction, intention and momentum for the day!
Write down the activity that you intend to implement, and if you find another activity that works better for you down the line, simply switch the activity. Also try out different activities until you find the one(s) which work(s) for you!

2. Question
From our first lesson you would have identified those items that you are passionate about, i.e. those things that you want more of in your life and which you love to do. In the second lesson, we looked at where we currently find ourselves in terms of our beliefs and our views of the world.
Now, as we are at the point where we are wanting to bring more passion into our lives, we need to look at these and decide which things we want to start bringing in. Even though it is not possible to see so far down the road to know exactly how something may or may not play out, you want to continue to move in the direction of the realisation of those things that you are passionate about. Furthermore, it is good to keep in mind that following the path doesn’t feel particularly momentous for most of the journey, but it is rather about being joyful and peaceful throughout the journey. For being joyful throughout the journey is how you allow the things that you truly desire to flow into your experience. In the formula of creation (Desire – Resistance = Outcome), it is clear that you would want to reduce the resistance throughout the journey which allows you to shift the outcome to be positive. However, the main benefit of being in alignment for most of the journey, is that you already feel in resonance with those things which are compatible with your Inner Peace, including those things that you are truly passionate about. In simple terms, you feel better because you direct your emotional state instead of needing something external to change in order to improve your emotional state.
Even though you may not know all of the details, consider which of your passion items you would like to start bringing in more of and what the first steps would be in bringing those things into your experience. Of course the best way to consider these things, is to have clarity in your thoughts about these things. And the way to have clarity, is to consider these things while you are aligned and therefore resistance free. And from that place, consider the expansion of those things that fill your heart, and write down what these things are and the first steps toward the realisation of these dreams. If the first steps don’t come to you as yet, don’t force it, simply allow yourself to be in the place to receive them until they become clear to you.
